1. How to book
When you have found the apartment you would like to stay in complete the online booking request form so that availability can be checked or call +49(0)3946-91 85 18 to make a booking. Or you can contact us by:

We will check the availability of your choices, if you make a provisional reservation it will be held for 7 days.

2. Payment
A booking for a holiday apartment becomes firm when the deposit of 50% of the holiday-price together with acopleted booking form is received by Ferien im Denkmal. Up to that time it is a provisional booking, and provisional bookings are held for 14 days.

Payment can only be accepted in Euro.

The holiday price includes Value Added Tax (VAT). If rates of VAT change, Ferien im Denkmal reserves the right to amed prices accordingly. Payments should be made:

The full balance of the total holiday cost is payable not later than ten weeks before the holiday begins. If the full balance is not paid on time, Ferien im Denkmal reserves the right to cancel the holiday booking, in which case the deposit will be forfeit.

Joint Bookings
Where two parties join forces to take a holiday property, the booking should be made in one name only that person (the Visitor) to be responsible for all payments and any damage.

Services
Services for water, gas, electricity are included in the holiday price.

3. Provisional Reservation
We will send you a Booking Confirmation, together with advice on how to reach your holiday apartment. Attached to the Booking Confirmation will be a note showing the balance due on your holiday and the date it is payable.

4. Cancellation
If Visitors or would like to make a cancellation Ferien im Denkmal will return to him/her any monies paid whereupon Ferien im Denkmal’s liability will cease until 14 days prior to the holiday start date less the sum of _ 10 per holiday apartment booked. If a cancellation will be made later than 14 days prior to the holiday start date only 50 % of the holiday price are paid back. If a Cancellation will be made on the holiday start date the will be no money paid back. Exceptions are being made for defined causes such as death, injury or illness.

5. Ferien im Denkmal Right To Refuse
Ferien im Denkmal reserves the right to refuse any booking and, in exceptional circumstances, to cancel, modify or alter arrangements made for the Visitor. If a booking has to be cancelled, modified or altered by Ferien im Denkmal, it will make every effort to offer an alternative holiday. If the Visitor does not accept the alternative holiday offered, Ferien im Denkmal will return to him/her any monies paid whereupon Ferien im Denkmal’s liability will cease.

6. Arrival & Departure
Visitors are excepted to arrive from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm and leave the apartment until 10 am.

7. Visitor Notes
Visitor Accommodation Limitation
Accommodation is limited to the number of persons for whom the booking is made, and the maximum number in each apartment must not exceed that stated in the brochure. In some cottages Ferien im Denkmal permits an additional person to stay for whom a charge of _10.00 per day is made and a foldaway bed is provided (with pillows and blankets or duvet).

Loss of Visitor Property
Ferien im Denkmal cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to any belongings, or for injury sustained by the Visitor or members of his/her party during their stay at the holiday property. Ferien im Denkmal excludes liability for loss or damage to any belongings, or for injury sustained to the Visitor or members of his/her party during their stay at the holiday property.

Visitor Obligations
The Visitor undertakes to keep the premises and all the furniture, fixtures and effects in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the booking period (reasonable wear and tear excepted) and shall pay to Ferien im Denkmal the value of any part of the premises, furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects so destroyed or damaged as to be incapable of being restored to its previous condition. Breakages and damage should be reported as soon as possible.

Property Cleanliness
The Visitor and members of his/her party are asked to leave the accommodation clean and tidy. Ferien im Denkmal reserves the right to make a charge for extra cleaning if the accommodation is not left in a satisfactory condition.

Right of Entry
Ferien im Denkmal stuff reserves the right to enter any cottage at any reasonable time on reasonable cause.

8. Other Information
Smoking
Many of our visitors are non-smokers and it is impossible to get rid of the smell of tobacco between bookings. We would request visitors not to smoke in the apartments.

Old Houses
Our houses are over 200 years old, have been renovated and refurbished to a high standard and are full of charm and character.

Access
The apartments have have car parking space close by, but you may need to carry your luggage a short distance.
